SHOW ROOM SECTIONThe society is having one Handicraft Showroom section with all types of handmade items being brought from other nearby state for the tourist attraction and souvenir of Sikkim State. The major income of the society comes from this section. The items sold in this section consists of handmade bags, handmade incense, traditional Tibetan wall hangings, prayer flags, Mani khorlo, and few melamine items consists of cups, bowls, plates etc. most of these items are being bought from Kalimpong and Bhutan. | |

CONSUMER SECTIONThe society is having one Consumer shop of all the commodities required by the members. This is the only consumer shop in the settlement and is running successfully. We sell all the house hold requirement including ration items and the prices are also lesser then the down town Ravangla Market which is 2 Kilometer away from the settlement. The members get their household requirement in a cheaper price and also they save money for taxi fare bringing from market. There are two staff looking after all the affairs of the consumer shop and is well maintained. The society also supplies the PDS items e.g. Rice, sugar, K.oil. Hence, this section is benefiting members in a very large scale. |
